The Ozonator is used for highly efficient sterilisation, as the use of this type of sterilisation is 1.5 to 5 times more efficient than ultraviolet lamps.
This ozonator must be connected to a timer to treat the water for 15 minutes every 2 to 3 hours.
The use of ozone in irrigation tanks eliminates microbes, viruses and germs, without the use of other additives or chemicals.
One of the benefits of ozone is that it does not change the original pH of the water and increases the oxygen levels in the nutrient solution. It has no residual effect and does not affect nutrients, but is incompatible with a biofilter.
